This the new album of the composer- arranger-musician Giorgos Christianakis .“ A season in hell ” will be released by Alltogether Now in the middle of December 2013. It is a musical composition based on the poetic text written by Arthur Rimbaud in 1873 , translated in Greek by Christoforos Liontakis.

The release has the form of a 56 pages book which is containing extracts of the poetic text, notes, photographs , illustrations and two 80’ length cd’s .The first cd is instrumental including 20 tracks and in the second cd Giorgos Christianakis and Giannis Aggelakas are reciting the poetic text in Greek accompanied by music.

The musicians that participated in the recordings are Fotis Siotas : violin-viola, Michalis Vrettas : violin, Sofia Eykleidou : chello, Nikos Veliotis : chello, Babis Papadopoulos : guitars, Vasilis Bacharidis : drums- percussion, Vlastur : bass, Giorgos Xylouris : cretan lyra, Giorgos Avramidis : trumpet and Giorgos Christianakis : piano, keys, guitars, bass, percussion.
The album has been recorded from February 2011 until November 2013 at Royal Alzheimer Hall studio in Thessaloniki by Titos Kargiotakis, Christos Charbilas and Giorgos Christianakis.
